About Studio

Xiaoping Studio is located in Yixing, one of the foremost ceramic producing cities in China. Created by Luo Xiaoping in 1992, this famous studio is home to his works and his place of residence for half of each year. In addition to Xiaoping and Junya, the studio also supports several resident students who assist him while creating their own works. Many visitors including professors of art, independent artists,art collectors and intellectuals from China and abroad frequent the studio.These visitors share inspiration with resident artists through demonstrations, slide presentations, tea ceremonies, and other exchanges. Many foreign students have studied and trained here as well.The studio is truly a dynamic and interactive space for working artists.

Yinqao Art Company and Yangtze Art Company in Taiwan,as well as Helen Gallery, Hurong Luo Gallery, John Natsoulas Gallery and the clay Studio in the United States represent Xiaoping Studio. Xiaoping has held many solo exhibitions, All the artists of the studio have participated in group exhibitions around the world, held many place awards.
